Before our journey along the American Discovery Trail even began we benefited from the kindness of family and friends. On the long drive out we stopped over at two of Ky’s relatives, nephew Curtis and sister Jeannie, and with two of my old hiking friends, Mike Hinckley and Marty Marcus.
I know this is not newsworthy. Haven’t we all benefited from the kindness of family and friends? Over the course of the following posts on this site, up until it’s time for the next journey, this is precisely one of the points to be made. Kindness is so common as to not be newsworthy; yet by not being newsworthy we lose sight of how common kindness is.
