I mentioned previously that we are swapping home repairs for room and board with Michael. Michael has a fascinating story which I don’t feel entitled to share. He does share some of it himself on a web site for the houseless. Michael informed me of the important distinction between houseless and homeless. Not all people without a house are homeless. That is to say, they have the other trappings of a home, such as some type of community support. I suppose one could turn this around and wonder if everybody with a house really has a home. In any case if you are interested in finding out more about being houseless here is the site.
