Kindness in Winsted, Connecticut

I tried a different approach this week.  In North Canaan I knew where and who the kindness story would be before I got there from some advanced scouting.  This time I just showed up at the Beardsley Memorial Library in Winsted.  They sent me to the Winsted YMCA for a story on kindness shown to a resident there.

I talked to YMCA Director Jay Cohen for a bit and decided to feature kindness shown to their homeless shelter through a program by the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.  Here is a podcast about that program, with scenery from my hike to Winsted.
