Towards the end of our journey we ran into AT section hike Scott Akridge, who maintains a blog called Appalachian Trail Hiking. He has left a comment on this blog which I turned into a post. He also interviewed me for his site. Most of the interviewed centered around how hiking the AT has evolved and the type of hikes Warren Doyle led. We also touched upon kindness and the parallels of thru-hiking to the social life of early nomads.
