Day 125 – 9/26/11 Denver Reflections – Speaking Out

Before leaving Denver I got the chance to speak out in two different venues.  At UC Denver I spoke out about the need for community involvement to address Housing, Health and Hunger.  My presentation included pictures of our journey and a performance on guitar.

I generally can read audiences pretty well, and I could tell everyone was wrapped up in the talk except perhaps one woman.  She looked agitated, whether by the “bad news” I delivered before the good news or by my overall message I don’t know.  Everyone else seemed to be fully on board.

After the talk I went to the KGNU studio for community to do a half hour feature show.  The host, Dave Ashton, even played a couple cuts by The Bards of Balance!

Here is that interview.
