We started out the day on US 50 and another paved road, with most of the day then spent on the “improved” Buffalo Creek Road. These two road days were in the eighties. What a difference! Temperatures in the nineties and above drain energy. The mind and body go on autopilot. We initially thought we were getting a break with these two days, only to find out that they were normal for June.
Buffalo Creek Road goes through BLM land, which meant we could stay with Ky and the support vehicle right on the “trail.”
